Sound familiar?

Your week is full of jobs a computer could be doing.

Nobody started a business to retype invoices. The tools to handle this are affordable now. The hard part is knowing which ones fit, setting them up properly, and keeping them working. That's the part we do.

INBOX

Sorting customer emails

Questions, complaints and orders all landing in one pile.

PHONE

Missed calls after hours

The 6pm caller who books with someone else by morning.

Pricing that only lives in one person's head.

INVOICES

Typing invoices twice

From the email, into the spreadsheet, into the accounting app.

SCHEDULE

Reminder calls and texts

Confirming tomorrow's appointments, one by one.

DOCS

Reading long paperwork

Contracts, forms and applications that take an hour to skim.

FOLLOW-UP

Chasing quotes and payments

Things that slip because nobody had time to follow up.

ANSWERS

"Where's that file?"

Hunting old emails and shared drives for the same answers.

Still you
You set the prices and the rules. AI just fills them in.

How the assessment starts

A real conversation about how your days actually go.

Every assessment begins with an interview. It's run by a voice agent Wyatt built to talk with business owners and their staff about how work gets done and where it gets stuck.

It asks the same careful questions every time, follows up when something sounds slow, and captures the whole conversation. Then Chance and Wyatt go through all of it themselves and follow up on anything that needs a closer look.

Interview · Harbor Lane Bakery (sample)recording
Interviewer · 02:14Walk me through what happens when someone emails asking for a custom cake quote.
Owner · 02:31It lands in the shared inbox. Whoever sees it forwards it to me, I check the calendar, work out a price in my head and reply. Usually that night.
Interviewer · 02:58How long does one of those take you, start to finish, once you sit down to it?
Owner · 03:06Ten minutes for the first reply. Then there's the back-and-forth on flavors, sizes, the date and the deposit, so call it half an hour all in. And by then half of them have already ordered somewhere else.
Interviewer · 03:20Roughly how many of those requests came in last month?
Owner · 03:27Forty? I'd have to check.
What we'd take from this: about half an hour of real work per request, stuck inside a day of waiting, one handoff, and prices nobody else can look up. At around 40 a month, that's roughly 4.5 hours a week. A strong candidate for Fix #1.

What you get back

A ranked list, with an honest answer for each.

Every idea gets a plain verdict: build it, buy something off the shelf, fix it the old-fashioned way, wait, or don't bother. Here's a sample from the made-up bakery above.

A person checks the work

Anything customer-facing is set up so a human reviews it, unless you choose otherwise.

Local and remote

Based in Central Illinois. We work anywhere over Zoom and phone.

Who you'll work with

A parent and son who like making work easier.

Viridian Blue is a family business. One of us knows what it's like to run a business. The other knows how to make the technology behave.

Our logo is a sailboat heading for the North Star. That's the job as we see it: help you pick the right direction, then keep things smooth sailing once you're on your way.

Questions

Things people ask before booking

Do I need to be good with computers?

No. We ask about your work, not your software. If you can describe how a job gets done, that's all we need.

We tried ChatGPT and nobody kept using it. Why would this be different?

Handing people a chatbot and hoping isn't a plan. We start from one specific task, set the tool up for exactly that job, and show your team how it fits into their day.

What if AI isn't the right answer for us?

Then the report says so and points you to the simpler fix. A cheaper, old-fashioned solution is a perfectly good outcome.

What does Fix #1 include?

Up to 5 hours of build time on a quick win from your report, set up in your own accounts, with a short training session for your team and 30 days of support. We agree the scope in writing first. If your top idea needs more than 5 hours, we'll quote it separately with a cap.

Is my business information safe?

We only use what you share to write your report and build your fix. Everyone in the interview is asked for permission before recording starts, and recordings are deleted 30 days after delivery unless you ask us to keep them. We'll point out anything sensitive, like patient or client records, and plan around it. Details are in our privacy policy.

Do you work outside Central Illinois?

Yes. The consultation, the interview and the assessment all happen over Zoom and phone, so we can work with businesses anywhere. If you're nearby and would rather meet in person, just ask.

What if I don't want monthly support?

That's fine. Everything we build lives in your accounts and keeps working without us. Support is there if you want help keeping it tuned.
